A sophisticated blend of Australian sandalwood, rich leather and amber with hints of dried fruits and reeds, Shackleford creates an effect that is as rugged-meets-sophisticated as the man wearing it.
Shackleford Banks is a small North Carolina island famous for the wild horses that have roamed its beaches for centuries. Also known for its distinctive windblown trees that cover the island, this untamed paradise seemed like a fitting namesake for our warm and woody cologne. This distinguished fragrance speaks to man’s attraction to both the elemental and the refined.

Each Fulton & Roark fragrance is designed to evoke a vivid feeling, and a sense of atmosphere and occasion. Using a blend of naturally sourced essential oils and premium fragrance ingredients, each cologne offers its own experience.
These highly concentrated solid colognes offer a long-lasting and steady fragrance designed to keep you fresh. More subtle than their liquid counterparts, F&R’s solids provide a personal fragrance--for those who are close to you, but not the whole office.
The solid metal containers travel easily in a gym bag, pocket or carry-on, allowing a man to smell his best no matter where he goes.
Great presentation! However, the product pretty much has no scent to it.
The packaging is A++. I love the idea of solid cologne, and this purchase was my first foray into using it. The scent is very pleasant. You immediately get warms hints of sandalwood and amber. I also noted some vetiver which is a welcome addition in the blend. My only reservation with this cologne was that the scent doesn't last more than three hours on me. Although solid cologne is portable, I generally don't want to reapply cologne during the day. Willing to try another Fulton & Roak cologne with the nice case, but I'll pass on this scent.
Easy ordering, super fast shipping and my son loves the product. He gets the solid fragrance because it does not make him smell like he bathed in it.
I wish there were samples to try before blindly purchasing, I wasn't entirely satisfied with mine.... but it's not bad. What is bad is the (also as expected) MASSIVE email spam from F&R. If anything keeps me from coming back, it'll be the desperate email barrage.
brother loved it as a christmas gift
