I’m always a little dumbstruck when people around me talk about my “style”.  I simply feel at my best when wearing great denim, high-quality boots and classic work and military-inspired attire where form follows function.

I’m just not interested in disposable products or of-the-moment trends. I  hope that’s reflected in what I choose to wear.

The best pieces I own are denims from Iron Heart and Pure Blue Japan, boots from Viberg, Truman and Alden and leather goods from Craft and Lore, Samuel Brave Mfg Co. and English Leather Works. All of these relatively small companies make durable goods at the highest level of quality and with an obvious and obsessive passion.

Bottom line: find what works for you and then invest in beautifully crafted and well-fitting pieces. Own fewer, higher quality, timeless pieces. You can’t go wrong with that recipe.
