Know Your Ingredients: Eucalyptus

If you like our 2-1 Shampoo + Body Wash or our Bar Soap, you're likely already a fan of Eucalyptus, whether you know it or not. The earthy, sharp, and slightly minty scent of Eucalyptus is a large part of what gives our wash products their invigorating fragrance. But Eucalyptus also does more than just smell good.

Eucalyptus oil is often used as a home remedy aimed at improving the respiratory and immune systems. Others use Eucalyptus to ameliorate minor aches and pains. For our purposes, Eucalyptus oil is a fantastic ingredient because it helps to reduce skin irritation and combat clogged pores and acne.

We're partial to the species, Eucalyptus Globulus. Originating in Australia and Tasmania, because it has a clean and assertive fragrance that blends well with our other ingredients.
